The event hasn’t even started and there’s already a new Starfield Direct trailer

Apparently, Microsoft and Bethesda don’t think we can make it through a full hour of waiting for the Starfield showcase without a bonus Starfield Direct trailer. So, at the 45-minute mark of Microsoft’s hour in the spotlight, we got a quick glimpse at some unseen cinematics and gameplay footage from the upcoming spacefaring trip.

Without any fanfare, the short trailer arrived between other much-anticipated titles like the Fable reimagining and more Forza Motorsport. We saw Vasco, our companion robot, we heard some more engaging narrator dialogue offering tidbits of lore, and of course, there were plenty of planets too. You can check out the trailer above.

Of course, this is all in the build-up to the big event, Starfield Direct, with a whole hour dedicated to what’s to come in the upcoming Bethesda title.
