If you’re familiar with previous Bethesda games, you’ve likely familiar with what Starfield legendary effects are. Legendary effects are special modifiers that can spawn randomly on Starfield weapons and Starfield armor, offering a unique twist or enhancement to your equipment. Finding the best legendary effect is a matter of luck, as you are unable to craft, detach, or equip Starfield legendary mods unless you install a Starfield mod.

Grants up to +100 Energy resistance and Physical resistance, the lower your health.

Chameleon

Blend with the environment while sneaking and not moving.

Combat Veteran

-15% damage from Human enemies.

Concussive

Small chance to knock down targets.

Cornered

Damage increases as health decreases.

Corrosive

Randomly deals corrosive damage and reduces the targets' armor over 6 seconds.

Crippling

Deals +30% damage on the next attack after hitting a target's limbs.

Demoralizing

Small chance to demoralize a target.

Disassembler

+20% damage against robots.

Elemental

Randomly deals Corrosive, Radiation, Poison, and Incendiary damage.

Explosive

Randomly switches to explosive rounds.

Extended Magazine

Doubles the base magazine capacity.

Exterminator

+30% damage against aliens.

Fastened

+20 carry capacity.

Frenzy

Small chance to frenzy a target.

Furious

Each consecutive hit deals more damage.

Galvanized

+25 Corrosive Resistance.

Hacker

+2 max auto attempts that can be banked while hacking.

Handloading

Volatile rounds that are designed to pack a bigger punch, but aren’t as stable and can fail on occasion.

Headhunter

Deals +25% damage on the next attack after hitting a target's head.

Hitman

+15% damage while aiming.

Incendiary

Randomly deals incendiary damage.

Instigating

Deals double damage to targets with full health.

Lacerate

Randomly applies a bleed effect to the target.

Leadlined

+25 Radiation Resistance.

Liquid Cooled

+25 Thermal Resistance.

Mechanized

+40 carry capacity.

Med Theft

Chance that humans drop extra Med Packs on death.

Mirrored

4% chance to reflect attacks.

O2 Booster

+20% oxygen capacity.

O2 Filter

-25% oxygen consumption.

One Inch Punch

Rounds fire in a shotgun-like spread.

Oxygenated

Hold-breath time when aiming using a scoped weapon is increased.

Peacemaker

Rifles do 10% more damage.

Poison

Randomly deals poison damage and slows the target.

Radioactive

Randomly deals radioactive damage and demoralizes the target.

Rapid

+25% increase in attack speed.

Reactive

10% chance to stagger nearby attackers.

Repulsing

Resources weigh 25% less.

+20% accuracy while firing on the move.

Sentinel

75% chance to reduce damage by 50% while standing still.

Shattering

Break through even the strongest armor.

Every fourth shot fires two projectiles at once.

Space-Adept

+30% damage while in space, and -15% damage while on a planet.

Staggering

Small chance to stagger enemies.

Sturdy

-15% incoming melee damage.

-15% damage from Robot enemies.
