Starfield enemies
You'll definitely encounter a number of Starfield enemies during your travels, from pirates, to beasts, and even stranger creatures.
As you wander the known planets and Starfield systems, you’re bound to come across some Starfield enemies. Unlike Starfield NPCs, enemies are unnamed opponents you will encounter on a planet’s surface, or flying around in space.
All Starfield enemies
Depending on the enemy you encounter, you will need to adapt your playstyle. Robots and heavily-armored foes are quite resistant to physical damage, so you might want to grab an energy weapon when encountering them. You can also grab a number of Starfield skills to boost your damage against specific types of enemies.
Enemies range from alien creatures to robots, turrets, and humanoids. Some enemies belong to a specific Starfield faction, and may only become hostile towards you if you commit a Starfield crime or take action against their group.
Enemies are a great source of loot and experience, with enemies dropping armor, weapons, items, consumables, and credits upon being defeated. You can also pickpocket your opponents rather than kill them if you’re going for a stealthy or pacifist playthrough.
