New Atlantis is Starfield’s biggest city and it breaks records for Bethesda
We got a better look at Starfield's biggest city, New Atlantis, as part of the Starfield showcase detailing parts of the upcoming space RPG.
Starfield’s biggest city, New Atlantis, is the biggest in Bethesda history, putting all the towns in Skyrim and Megaton to shame. As the first major human settlement in space, you’re going to be spending a lot of time in New Atlantis, part of the larger United Colonies. So, it makes sense that there’s plenty to explore.
As shown in Starfield Direct, the people of New Atlantis consider themselves the closest relation to the true people of Earth, spreading the power of humanity throughout the galaxy. What exactly you get up to on the planet is still a bit of a mystery, but the narrator tells us how much they value ‘law and discipline’, so we think it might be the sort of ying to Neon City’s yang, the latter being a shadowy location in the wider Starfield universe.
