In order to progress up the Particle Beam Weapon Systems skill tree, you will need to complete various skill challenges related to the skill in question, and increase your Starfield level to earn skill points. Each rank requires a skill point to unlock.

This skill increases the damage from particle beam ship weapons and reduces the cost of targeting mode, once this skill is mastered ship particle beam weapons have an increased critical hit chance.

3		Ship particle beam weapons do 30% more damage, and Targeting mode cost is reduced by 30%.	Deal 10000 damage to enemy ships with particle beam weapons.
4		Increased critical hit chance with ship particle beam weapons.	You have mastered this skill.

How to unlock Particle Beam Weapon Systems console command

If you want to add the Particle Beam Weapon Systems Starfield skill to your character without increasing your Starfield level or expending a skill point, simply open the Starfield console command window with the apostrophe (‘) or tilde (~) key and enter the following command:

player.addperk 002C2C5B

By repeating the player.addperk 002C2C5B command, you can bypass the Particle Beam Weapon Systems rank-up challenge and unlock the next rank. Entering the above command four times will unlock the rank 4 Particle Beam Weapon Systems skill.

To remove the Particle Beam Weapon Systems skill, you can use the following command:

player.removeperk 002C2C5B
