Starfield Outpost Engineering skill overview

The Starfield Outpost Engineering skill is a tier 3 skill in the Science skill tree. It, as with all Starfield skills, has 4 ranks, beginning at rank 1 and ending at rank 4. In order to progress up the Outpost Engineering skill tree, you will need to complete various skill challenges related to the skill in question, and increase your Starfield level to earn skill points. Each rank requires a skill point to unlock.

The Outpost Engineering Skills allows you to construct improved outpost modules, with the ability to research additional modules. The final rank of this skill reduces resource cost of constructing outpost modules.

This skill is a good choice for anyone as it improves the quality of outposts and if fully mastered will save many resources in constructing habitats.

Proper construction of habitation modules is essential to one’s survival on any alien world.

The Outpost Engineering skill has the following ranks and stats:

4		Outpost modules now cost 50% fewer resources to build.	You have mastered this skill.

How to unlock Outpost Engineering console command

If you want to add the Outpost Engineering Starfield skill to your character without increasing your Starfield level or expending a skill point, simply open the Starfield console command window with the apostrophe (‘) or tilde (~) key and enter the following command:

player.addperk 002C59E0

By repeating the player.addperk 002C59E0 command, you can bypass the Outpost Engineering rank-up challenge and unlock the next rank. Entering the above command four times will unlock the rank 4 Outpost Engineering skill.

To remove the Outpost Engineering skill, you can use the following command:

player.removeperk 002C59E0
