Starfield Concealment skill overview

The Starfield Concealment skill is a tier 4 skill in the Physical skill tree. It, as with all Starfield skills, has 4 ranks, beginning at rank 1 and ending at rank 4. In order to progress up the Concealment skill tree, you will need to complete various skill challenges related to the skill in question, and increase your Starfield level to earn skill points. Each rank requires a skill point to unlock.

This skill provides many different buffs to aid in sneaking. Sneak attack damage is improved, and you are able to sneak and run without affecting stealth. Upon reaching rank 3 you unlock the ability to cloak yourself with a Chameleon-like ability when standing completely still.

Stealth is sometimes very useful when approaching enemies and this skill will aid in eliminating enemies while remaining unseen.

In-game Concealment skill description

Few skills capture the imagination like the ability to remain undetected, used by assassins, special forces operatives, and simple thieves alike for centuries.

The Concealment skill has the following ranks and stats:

1		You no longer set off enemy mines. Ranged sneak attacks do 2.5x normal damage and your melee sneak attacks do 4x normal damage.	Perform 10 melee/unarmed sneak attacks.
2		Running while sneaking doesn't affect stealth. Ranged sneak attacks do 3x normal damage and your melee sneak attacks do 5x normal damage.	Perform 30 melee/unarmed sneak attacks.
3		You gain a Chameleon-like ability when completely still and sneaking. Ranged sneak attacks do 3.5x normal damage and your melee sneak attacks do 8x normal damage.	Perform 75 melee/unarmed sneak attacks.
4		Engaging stealth causes distant enemies to lose you. Ranged sneak attacks do 4x normal damage and your melee sneak attacks do 10x normal damage.	You have mastered this skill.

How to unlock Concealment console command

If you want to add the Concealment Starfield skill to your character without increasing your Starfield level or expending a skill point, simply open the Starfield console command window with the apostrophe (‘) or tilde (~) key and enter the following command:

player.addperk 002C555E

By repeating the player.addperk 002C555E command, you can bypass the Concealment rank-up challenge and unlock the next rank. Entering the above command four times will unlock the rank 4 Concealment skill.

To remove the Concealment skill, you can use the following command:

player.removeperk 002C555E
