Starfield Environmental Conditioning skill overview

The Starfield Environmental Conditioning skill is a tier 2 skill in the Physical skill tree. It, as with all Starfield skills, has 4 ranks, beginning at rank 1 and ending at rank 4. In order to progress up the Environmental Conditioning skill tree, you will need to complete various skill challenges related to the skill in question, and increase your Starfield level to earn skill points. Each rank requires a skill point to unlock.

The Environmental Conditioning skill gives you various resistances to environmental damage, starting with resistance to airborne environmental damage, with resistances to thermal, corrosive and radiation environmental damage as you rank up this skill. Rank 4 will provide you with a reduced chance of afflictions from environmental damage sources

You will often find yourself exploring a wide range of planets in Starfield and this skill will make exploration easier as planets will be slightly more hospitable to you.
