Starfield Energy Weapon Dissipation skill overview

The Starfield Energy Weapon Dissipation skill is a tier 2 skill in the Physical skill tree. It, as with all Starfield skills, has 4 ranks, beginning at rank 1 and ending at rank 4. In order to progress up the Energy Weapon Dissipation skill tree, you will need to complete various skill challenges related to the skill in question, and increase your Starfield level to earn skill points. Each rank requires a skill point to unlock.

The Energy Weapon Dissipation skill will reduce any damage from energy weapons. Upon mastering this skill you will have a small chance to reflect energy damage back to the attacker when you have low HP.

Given the frequent usage of energy weapons in Starfield this skill gives you the potential to lower damage received which will prove useful in giving you the edge in combat.

In-game Energy Weapon Dissipation skill description

Considering the widespread use of energy weapons in the Settled Systems, specialized training to minimize damage is considered invaluable.

The Energy Weapon Dissipation skill has the following ranks and stats:

1		Energy damage is reduced by 5%.	Take 150 points of energy damage.
2		Energy damage is reduced by 10%.	Take 350 points of energy damage.
3		Energy damage is reduced by 15%.	Take 750 points of energy damage.
4		25% chance to reflect energy damage back to an attacker when your health is below 50%.	You have mastered this skill.

How to unlock Energy Weapon Dissipation console command

If you want to add the Energy Weapon Dissipation Starfield skill to your character without increasing your Starfield level or expending a skill point, simply open the Starfield console command window with the apostrophe (‘) or tilde (~) key and enter the following command:

player.addperk 002C59E2

By repeating the player.addperk 002C59E2 command, you can bypass the Energy Weapon Dissipation rank-up challenge and unlock the next rank. Entering the above command four times will unlock the rank 4 Energy Weapon Dissipation skill.

To remove the Energy Weapon Dissipation skill, you can use the following command:

player.removeperk 002C59E2
