Starfield Crippling skill overview

The Starfield Crippling skill is a tier 4 skill in the Combat skill tree. It, as with all Starfield skills, has 4 ranks, beginning at rank 1 and ending at rank 4. In order to progress up the Crippling skill tree, you will need to complete various skill challenges related to the skill in question, and increase your Starfield level to earn skill points. Each rank requires a skill point to unlock.

This skill makes you more likely to down enemies. As you rank up this skill you can eliminate downed enemies easier by causing them to not recover from being down and by being able to deal more damage to downed enemies.

During combat this skill will prove useful as it allows you to eliminate enemies faster by downing them more frequently.

In-game Crippling skill description

Specifically targeting the pressure points and nerves of various limbs can disable an opponent, limiting their combat effectiveness.

The Crippling skill has the following ranks and stats:

1		Human enemies have a 30% increased chance to enter a downed state after taking enough damage.	Put 20 enemies into the bleedout state.
2		Humanoid enemies have a 50% increased chance to not naturally recover from a downed state.	Put 50 enemies into the bleedout state.
3		Human enemies now can enter a downed state earlier.	Put 100 enemies into the bleedout state.
4		Previous ranks now apply to all enemy types. You now do 100% more damage to downed enemies.	You have mastered this skill.

How to unlock Crippling console command

If you want to add the Crippling Starfield skill to your character without increasing your Starfield level or expending a skill point, simply open the Starfield console command window with the apostrophe (‘) or tilde (~) key and enter the following command:

player.addperk 0027CBBA

By repeating the player.addperk 0027CBBA command, you can bypass the Crippling rank-up challenge and unlock the next rank. Entering the above command four times will unlock the rank 4 Crippling skill.

To remove the Crippling skill, you can use the following command:

player.removeperk 0027CBBA
