Starfield Dueling skill overview
The Starfield Dueling skill is a tier 1 skill in the Combat skill tree. It, as with all Starfield skills, has 4 ranks, beginning at rank 1 and ending at rank 4. In order to progress up the Dueling skill tree, you will need to complete various skill challenges related to the skill in question, and increase your Starfield level to earn skill points. Each rank requires a skill point to unlock.
The Dueling skill gives you a damage boost to melee weapons and allows you to take less damage when wielding a melee weapon. The final rank for this skill will provide you with HP when you kill a target with a melee weapon. Melee combat is a high risk, high reward playstyle, this skill will give you the edge in melee combat allowing you to make short work of enemies in close combat.
In-game Dueling skill description
Considered by many to be a lost art, close attacks with a melee weapon can often be deadlier than ranged combat when carried out by a skilled practitioner.
The Dueling skill has the following ranks and stats:

Melee weapons do 25% more damage. Take 10% less damage while wielding a melee weapon. Kill 20 enemies with a melee weapon. 2 
Melee kills make you run 20% faster for 10 seconds. Kill 50 enemies with a melee weapon. 3 
Melee weapons do 50% more damage. Take 15% less damage while wielding a melee weapon. Kill 100 enemies with a melee weapon. 4 
Melee kills heal you for 10% of your health. You have mastered this skill.
How to unlock Dueling console command
If you want to add the Dueling Starfield skill to your character without increasing your Starfield level or expending a skill point, simply open the Starfield console command window with the apostrophe (‘) or tilde (~) key and enter the following command:
player.addperk 002CFCB0
By repeating the player.addperk 002CFCB0 command, you can bypass the Dueling rank-up challenge and unlock the next rank. Entering the above command four times will unlock the rank 4 Dueling skill.
To remove the Dueling skill, you can use the following command:
player.removeperk 002CFCB0
