Starfield Isolation skill overview

The Starfield Isolation skill is a tier 2 skill in the Social skill tree. It, as with all Starfield skills, has 4 ranks, beginning at rank 1 and ending at rank 4. In order to progress up the Isolation skill tree, you will need to complete various skill challenges related to the skill in question, and increase your Starfield level to earn skill points. Each rank requires a skill point to unlock.

The Isolation skill gives you increased weapon damage and damage resistance for each spacesuit and helmet equipped when you have no companions or crew. The amount of increased damage and damage resistance will increase as you rank up this skill.

If you prefer a lone wolf playstyle this skill will be great for you as it can compensate for your lack of backup by giving you valuable stat buffs.

In-game Isolation skill description

By eschewing team tactics and embracing the advantages of “lone wolf” operations, one can vastly improve their combat effectiveness.

The Isolation skill has the following ranks and stats:

1		Do +10% weapon damage and gain 15 Damage Resistance for each Spacesuit and Helmet equipped when you don't have a companion or any crew.	Kill 20 enemies while not in command of a follower.
2		Do +20% weapon damage and gain 30 Damage Resistance for each Spacesuit and Helmet equipped when you don't have a companion or any crew.	Kill 50 enemies while not in command of a follower.
3		Do +30% weapon damage and gain 45 Damage Resistance for each Spacesuit and Helmet equipped when you don't have a companion or any crew.	Kill 100 enemies while not in command of a follower.
4		Do +40% weapon damage and gain 60 Damage Resistance for each Spacesuit and Helmet equipped when you don't have a companion or any crew.	You have mastered this skill.

How to unlock Isolation console command

If you want to add the Isolation Starfield skill to your character without increasing your Starfield level or expending a skill point, simply open the Starfield console command window with the apostrophe (‘) or tilde (~) key and enter the following command:

player.addperk 002C53AE

By repeating the player.addperk 002C53AE command, you can bypass the Isolation rank-up challenge and unlock the next rank. Entering the above command four times will unlock the rank 4 Isolation skill.

To remove the Isolation skill, you can use the following command:

player.removeperk 002C53AE
