Starfield Outpost Management skill overview

The Starfield Outpost Management skill is a tier 3 skill in the Social skill tree. It, as with all Starfield skills, has 4 ranks, beginning at rank 1 and ending at rank 4. In order to progress up the Outpost Management skill tree, you will need to complete various skill challenges related to the skill in question, and increase your Starfield level to earn skill points. Each rank requires a skill point to unlock.

This skill will improve the effectiveness of your outpost by allowing for additional cargo links, robots and crew to be placed. The final rank causes outpost extractors to double production.

Outpost Management is a useful skill for anyone constructing many outposts as it has the potential to vastly increase the production from resource extractors.

In-game Outpost Management skill description

While constructing an outpost offers its own challenges, properly managing that outpost takes a special personality type, and specialized training.

The Outpost Management skill has the following ranks and stats:

1		Additional cargo links can be placed at outposts.	Build cargo links on 6 different planets.
2		Additional robots can be constructed at outposts.	Construct 8 robots at outposts.
3		Additional crew can be assigned at outposts.	Construct 10 crew stations at outposts.
4		Outposts extractors produce twice as fast.	You have mastered this skill.

How to unlock Outpost Management console command

If you want to add the Outpost Management Starfield skill to your character without increasing your Starfield level or expending a skill point, simply open the Starfield console command window with the apostrophe (‘) or tilde (~) key and enter the following command:

player.addperk 0023826F

By repeating the player.addperk 0023826F command, you can bypass the Outpost Management rank-up challenge and unlock the next rank. Entering the above command four times will unlock the rank 4 Outpost Management skill.

To remove the Outpost Management skill, you can use the following command:

player.removeperk 0023826F
