Starfield Sharpshooting skill overview

The Starfield Sharpshooting skill is a tier 4 skill in the Combat skill tree. It, as with all Starfield skills, has 4 ranks, beginning at rank 1 and ending at rank 4. In order to progress up the Sharpshooting skill tree, you will need to complete various skill challenges related to the skill in question, and increase your Starfield level to earn skill points. Each rank requires a skill point to unlock.

The Sharpshooting skill will increase your headshot critical damage with ranged weapons, with critical damage inflicted with ranged weapons increasing as you rank this skill.

Using ranged weapons to pick off targets from afar allows you to stay out of harms way, and with this skill you can be sure your ranged weapons will pack a punch.

In-game Sharpshooting skill description

For those who specialize in precise targeting that maximizes damage, combat is often a quickly efficient affair.

The Sharpshooting skill has the following ranks and stats:

1		Increase headshot critical damage by 50% with ranged weapons.	Deal 50 ranged critical hits.
2		Increase critical damage to enemy legs by 50% with ranged weapons.	Deal 125 ranged critical hits.
3		Increase all critical damage to enemies by 50% with ranged weapons.	Deal 250 ranged critical hits.
4		Ranged critical hit kills increase your critical hit chance with all ranged weapons by 25% for 20 seconds.	You have mastered this skill.

How to unlock Sharpshooting console command

If you want to add the Sharpshooting Starfield skill to your character without increasing your Starfield level or expending a skill point, simply open the Starfield console command window with the apostrophe (‘) or tilde (~) key and enter the following command:

player.addperk 002C53AF

By repeating the player.addperk 002C53AF command, you can bypass the Sharpshooting rank-up challenge and unlock the next rank. Entering the above command four times will unlock the rank 4 Sharpshooting skill.

To remove the Sharpshooting skill, you can use the following command:

player.removeperk 002C53AF
