Starfield Xenosociology skill overview
The Starfield Xenosociology skill is a tier 4 skill in the Social skill tree. It, as with all Starfield skills, has 4 ranks, beginning at rank 1 and ending at rank 4. In order to progress up the Xenosociology skill tree, you will need to complete various skill challenges related to the skill in question, and increase your Starfield level to earn skill points. Each rank requires a skill point to unlock.
The Xenosociology Skill allows you to force an alien creature to stop fighting. As you level up this you will be able to have more control over the creature such as forcing it to attack its allies or making it obey your commands. This skill is a great way to give yourself an advantage when fighting alien creatures.

While sentient life has yet to be discovered, the galaxy’s alien species are generally intelligent enough to be susceptible to the power of suggestion.
The Xenosociology skill has the following ranks and stats:

You can force a target alien creature up to 10 levels higher than you to stop fighting for a limited time. Successfully use Pacify on 15 different aliens. 2 
You can force a target alien creature up to 10 levels higher than you to flee for a limited time. Successfully use Flee on 15 different aliens. 3 
You can force a target alien creature up to 10 levels higher than you to attack their allies for a limited time. Successfully use Frenzy on 15 different aliens. 4 
You can force a target alien creature up to 10 levels higher than you to obey commands for a limited time. You have mastered this skill.
How to unlock Xenosociology console command
If you want to add the Xenosociology Starfield skill to your character without increasing your Starfield level or expending a skill point, simply open the Starfield console command window with the apostrophe (‘) or tilde (~) key and enter the following command:
player.addperk 002C53B0
By repeating the player.addperk 002C53B0 command, you can bypass the Xenosociology rank-up challenge and unlock the next rank. Entering the above command four times will unlock the rank 4 Xenosociology skill.
To remove the Xenosociology skill, you can use the following command:
player.removeperk 002C53B0
