The Starfield Microgun is one of the many weapons in Bethesda’s huge new RPG. Discover Microgun stats, info, and more in our weapons database.
First seen during the Starfield Direct showcase, the Microgun is Starfield’s own minigun. Smaller than its Fallout counterpart, the Microgun spits out ammo at an exceptionally high rate of fire, turning most enemies into paste within seconds. It is, however, very ammo hungry as a result, so save this one for bosses or large groups of enemies.
The Starfield Microgun is a Heavy weapon found in the Settled Systems. Manufactured by Allied Armaments, the Microgun Starfield weapon has a credit value of 13519, and a mass of 11.4.

Fire rate: 350
The Microgun has a baseline fire rate of 350, though the speed at which you reload will ultimately determine how close you can get to this rate of fire. Accuracy determines the spread of your gun, with lower accuracy weapons having more spread than others. Some ammunition and magazine weapon mods can drastically alter the rate of fire, accuracy and effective range of any weapon, so it’s worth experimenting with the Microgun weapon mods to make the Heavy weapon better fit your playstyle.
Without modification, Microgun comes with 6 mod slots.
The Microgun requires 7.77mm Caseless ammunition, and has a magazine capacity of 300.
To really make the most of your Microgun weapon, you’ll want to head to a weapon workstation and install some Microgun weapon mods. You may need to complete some Starfield research projects first, and get your hands on some Starfield resources, but weapon mods will massively enhance your firearms, and your playstyle.
The Microgun has a total of 6 mod slots with which you can customize your weapon.
