The Tempest has a baseline fire rate of 90, though the speed at which you reload will ultimately determine how close you can get to this rate of fire. Accuracy determines the spread of your gun, with lower accuracy weapons having more spread than others. Some ammunition and magazine weapon mods can drastically alter the rate of fire, accuracy and effective range of any weapon, so it’s worth experimenting with the Tempest weapon mods to make the Rifle better fit your playstyle.

Where to find Tempest

You can find base and upgraded versions of the Tempest randomly in a number of containers, as loot from defeated enemies, and in several NPC inventories. Bear in mind, many weapons will not spawn unless you have reached a specific Starfield level.
