The Starfield Wakizashi is a Melee Weapon found in the Settled Systems. Manufactured by an unknown entity, the Wakizashi Starfield weapon has a credit value of 6140, and a mass of 1.35.

The Wakizashi deals 49 Physical damage per hit.
As a weapon which specializes in Physical damage, the Wakizashi is boosted by the Dueling skill.As a Melee weapon, the Wakizashi can be used to stun enemies with a flurry of close-range attacks. This is particularly useful for enemies with heavy weapons, especially if you can interupt the enemy’s reloading animation.
However, bear in mind that using a melee weapon as your main source of damage can put you at a disadvantage in a major firefight if you haven’t packed enough healing consumables. Stock up on medicine that boosts your damage resistance to further improve your effectiveness with the Wakizashi.
Currently, it does not appear that you can equip Starfield weapon mods to melee weapons, but this could change in the future with Starfield DLC or Starfield mods.
Where to find Wakizashi
You can find base and upgraded versions of the Wakizashi randomly in a number of containers, as loot from defeated enemies, and in several NPC inventories. Bear in mind, many weapons will not spawn unless you have reached a specific Starfield level. So, if you visit any of the below and can’t find the weapon, check back later once you’re a higher level.
