Copper

Copper is an essential metal in Starfield. Used traditionally in electronics, wiring, and as a conductive material, you’ll be using copper in most basic recipes as you craft, research, and upgrade your equipment. Copper also has a lot of utility in energy generation, making it an essential resource to find.

Extracting copper should be a simple matter of using your Cutter tool, or setting up a resource extractor at your outpost.

Starfield Copper is a Starfield resource which can be used in a number of crafting recipes. Copper is classed as Inorganic. The rarity of the resource determines how difficult it is to find Copper, and also affects the overall credit value of the resource when you are looking to buy or sell stockpiles of Copper.
