Dagger overview

The Starfield Dagger is a prefabricated Starfield ship that you can find in Starfield which has a starting mass of 306, and a credit value of 61375.

The Dagger has a random chance of spawning in ship vendor inventories, but it also has a guaranteed spawn chance at the Vulture’s Roost location. The Dagger will spawn at the far end of the Vulture’s Roost in the hanger area, making it a very easy and free ship to grab.

The only thing to bear in mind is that the Vulture’s Roost is a heavily guarded location full of Starfield contraband and Ecliptic Mercenaries, so make sure you’re carrying some suitable weapons when you attempt to hijack the Dagger.

Dagger stats

A ship’s hull determines how much damage it can take before it is destroyed. The Dagger has a hull of 393, and can be viewed as a white bar in the bottom-right corner of your screen when flying your ship in space.

You can use Ship Parts to repair your hull inside and outside of combat, but you may want to install a better shield generator to give yourself additional breathing space.

The Dagger has the following stats:

Ship class: A

Reactor power: 16

Crew capacity: 2

Gravity jump distance:  20 LY

Shield: 340

Laser weapon strength: 6

Ballistic weapon strength: 13

Missile weapon strength: 47

Particle beam weapon strength: This ship does not come with particle beam weapons.

Electromagnetic weapon strength: This ship does not come with electromagnetic weapons.

One of the most important ship stats you’ll want to keep an eye on is the cargo capacity. The larger a ship’s cargo capacity, the more you can store aboard it. This is critical for building outpost components, completing Starfield research projects, and crafting weapon mods and armor mods.

The Dagger already comes with a cargo capacity of 200. However, you can expand on this by installing additional ship components.

You can find the Dagger at the following locations:
