As a Melee weapon, the The Last Priest can be used to stun enemies with a flurry of close-range attacks. This is particularly useful for enemies with heavy weapons, especially if you can interupt the enemy’s reloading animation.
However, bear in mind that using a melee weapon as your main source of damage can put you at a disadvantage in a major firefight if you haven’t packed enough healing consumables. Stock up on medicine that boosts your damage resistance to further improve your effectiveness with the The Last Priest.
Currently, it does not appear that you can equip Starfield weapon mods to melee weapons, but this could change in the future with Starfield DLC or Starfield mods.
Where to find The Last Priest
You can find base and upgraded versions of the The Last Priest randomly in a number of containers, as loot from defeated enemies, and in several NPC inventories. Bear in mind, many weapons will not spawn unless you have reached a specific Starfield level. So, if you visit any of the below and can’t find the weapon, check back later once you’re a higher level.
