United Colonies Native

United Colonies Native
Summary You have a luxury house, but a 50,000 Credits mortgage.

United Colonies Native overview

You can choose the United Colonies Native Starfield trait from 17 options during the Starfield character creation screen. Upon finalizing your character and leaving the character creator menu, you will no longer be able to pick up additional traits like United Colonies Native if you didn’t select it the first time around. You can get around this limitation by using a Starfield console command, but not without disabling Starfield achievements.

Fortunately, Starfield allows you to remove traits by speaking with trait-specific NPCs, so you can always remove the United Colonies Native trait if you find it counter-productive, or not as much fun as you thought.

Being raised within the United Colonies makes the population of New Atlantis and associated settlements much friendlier. You’ll find dialogue options specific to UC systems and planets which makes speech checks easier to pass, and you’ll potentially get additional rewards when completing UC missions.

in-game description

You gain acces to special United Colonies dialogue options, and better rewards from some missions given by the faction. However, crime bounty by other factions is greatly increased. (Can’t be combined with any other faction allegiance trait.)
