Bethesda has unveiled its cheapest Starfield sale yet
Starfield's largest discount has gone live with the Bethesda spring sale, giving players a great chance to dive in before the DLC arrives.
A Starfield sale has begun, with 33% off the standard edition, and 30% off the premium edition of Starfield until Thursday, March 21, 2024. The 33% discount on the standard edition marks the deepest discount Bethesda has yet given for Starfield, and will hopefully do something to rescue Starfield’s ever-declining Steam player count.
If you haven’t picked up Starfield yet, now might be the best time. Ever since release, Bethesda has been hard at work rolling out a number of Starfield updates to address the considerable number of bugs that were reported by players. The most recent update alone contained hundreds of fixes, and even added new features to the Starfield photo mode, indicating that, despite the game’s low player numbers, Bethesda has not abandoned the game and is committed to delivering what they originally promised.
The game is more stable than it has ever been, and there’s a very good chance that the first Starfield’s DLC expansion – Shattered Space – is just around the corner.
You might want to wait until after the DLC has launched before purchasing the game, but with a 30% discount on the premium edition, there’s never been a better moment to grab the game cheap. The first DLC pack is expected to launch in early 2024, and with an unnamed DLC package appearing on SteamDb, we estimate that Starfield will see its first major expansion before the end of April.
If you haven’t picked up the game yet, are you tempted by Bethesda’s Starfield sale? Or are you waiting until Starfield reviews become more positive, or until the DLC launches? Let us know in the Starfield forum, and be sure to follow Starfield Db on Google News for all the latest game updates.
