The Friends Like These mission takes place on Jemison. In order to complete this quest, you’ll need to eliminate the robots, including the ominously named Va’runn Robot Model S. With a name like that, it seems certain that the mission involves the mysterious House of Va’ruun.

Once you’ve eliminated the robots, you’ll need to explore the menacing basement in which you find yourself. You’d best come well-armed if you hope to make it out in one piece.

Friends Like These overview

Friends Like These is a Starfield United Colonies quest. Like all other Starfield missions, you can find the full details of Friends Like These in your mission log, and you can easily find your next objective location by following the quest marker, or by entering the scanner mode and following Starfield’s breadcrumb trail.

Friends Like These is preceded by no particular mission, and followed by no confirmed quest.

After the Terromorph attack you will need to gain access to the Armistice archives by convincing both Freestar Collective and House Va’ruun officials.

Friends Like These mission console commands

If you just want to start the Friends Like These mission, all you need to do is enter the following Starfield console command to begin:

startquest 002E57DF

Be warned that attempting to start a quest that requires specific triggers or hidden markers can result in game instability, so it is recommended you save your game before trying any commands. If however you are encountering a Starfield bug that prevents the mission from advancing, you might want to try the following:

resetquest 002E57DF

The above command will completely reset a quest (make sure you save your game beforehand in case it causes a crash to desktop). It also has the potential to prevent that quest from ever completing, meaning you’ll need to use the completequest 002E57DF command to progress.
