Is there going to be a Starfield Steam release?

Good news, PC users! You can anticipate a Starfield Steam release, with the official game page stating that the release is ‘coming soon’. At the time of writing, there’s nothing to suggest a different Starfield release date to that of the Xbox version, but with still no concrete date for that, we can’t say when Starfield is coming to Steam with any certainty. As soon as we know, we’ll update this guide.

What are the Starfield Steam requirements?

Can I play Starfield on Steam Deck?

As we’re still ahead of release, there’s no indication whether Starfield is Steam Deck certified. We do know that Bethesda’s Skyrim anniversary edition, a graphically souped-up version of the 2011 title, plays great on the Steam Deck, so we’re hoping that Bethesda looks to make its next big game just as perfect a fit for the portable hardware.

Is there a Starfield Steam release date?

Unfortunately, we don’t have a Starfield release date yet, so we don’t know when the game will arrive on Steam. We assume it’ll release at the same time as the Xbox version, but we’ll be back to update this page when we know for certain. It’s also worth adding Starfield to your Steam wishlist to get all the latest updates.
