Is there going to be a Starfield Steam release?

Good news! Starfield is on Steam, with both the Standard and Digital Premium editions available. Historically, Bethesda has launched its titles at the same time across all platforms, though expansion packs are a different story, so we can only hope that Starfield DLC will be available on Steam at the same time as its Xbox counterpart.

Can I play Starfield on Steam Deck?

Following the release of Starfield, we’ve seen plenty playing the game on Steam Deck and other handheld Windows-based consoles. However, Starfield is only currently rated as ‘playable’ on the console, rather than the much esteemed ‘verified’ rating. That being said, there are a bunch of Starfield mods that can enhance the experience through some additional software.
