Freestar Collective Settler

Freestar Collective Settler
Summary Gain special dialog options with the FC, but receive higher bounties from other factions.

Freestar Collective Settler overview

You can choose the Freestar Collective Settler Starfield trait from 17 options during the Starfield character creation screen. Upon finalizing your character and leaving the character creator menu, you will no longer be able to pick up additional traits like Freestar Collective Settler if you didn’t select it the first time around. You can get around this limitation by using a Starfield console command, but not without disabling Starfield achievements.

Fortunately, Starfield allows you to remove traits by speaking with trait-specific NPCs, so you can always remove the Freestar Collective Settler trait if you find it counter-productive, or not as much fun as you thought.

Being raised within the Freestar Collective makes the population of Akila City and associated settlements much friendlier. You’ll find dialogue options specific to Freestar Collective systems and planets which makes speech checks easier to pass, and potentially grant additional rewards.

in-game description

You gain access to special Freestar Collective dialogue options, and better rewards from some missions given by the faction. But, crime bounty towards other factions is greatly increased. (Can’t be combined with any other faction allegiance trait.)
