The Drum Beat is a Combatech rifle which deals 8 physical damage per shot, with a magazine capacity of 60 bullets. This makes the Drum Beat a very versatile rifle, especially if you equip it with more advanced magazines, or weapon modifications.
First seen during the June 2023 Starfield Direct showcase, the Drum Beat could be upgraded with explosive and “whitehot” rounds instead of its usual ammo.

You can find base and upgraded versions of the Drum Beat randomly in a number of containers, as loot from defeated enemies, and in several NPC inventories.
