High Price to Pay overview

High Price to Pay is a Starfield Main quest. Like all other Starfield missions, you can find the full details of High Price to Pay in your mission log, and you can easily find your next objective location by following the quest marker, or by entering the scanner mode and following Starfield’s breadcrumb trail.

High Price to Pay is preceded by No Sudden Moves, and followed by Companion's Belongings, Companion's Belongings, No Sudden Moves and Unity.

Having retrieved the latest Artifact, the Eye has lost communication with The Lodge. A transmission from Vlad breaks through the static. The Starborn are attacking.

High Price to Pay objectives

Most Starfield missions consist of several objectives that you must complete to advance the quest. As you complete each objective, your journal will be updated with the next objective.

Specific objectives and checkpoints have not yet been confirmed for this Starfield mission.

High Price to Pay reward

Completing High Price to Pay provides the player with 800 experience.

High Price to Pay mission console commands

If you just want to start the High Price to Pay mission, all you need to do is enter the following Starfield console command to begin:

startquest 002C6D74

Be warned that attempting to start a quest that requires specific triggers or hidden markers can result in game instability, so it is recommended you save your game before trying any commands. If however you are encountering a Starfield bug that prevents the mission from advancing, you might want to try the following:

resetquest 002C6D74

The above command will completely reset a quest (make sure you save your game beforehand in case it causes a crash to desktop). It also has the potential to prevent that quest from ever completing, meaning you’ll need to use the completequest 002C6D74 command to progress.

High Price to Pay walkthrough

Our Starfield High Price to Pay walkthrough has all you need to keep powering through the main quest in Bethesda’s science fiction RPG. Check out the numbered list below to get this one under your (space) belt.

• Speak to Noel to receive a transmission from The Eye. When the choice arises, we recommend staying at The Lodge.
• You’ll have to hold off the Hunter. At a certain point, you’ll have to run. Head to The Well below The Lodge. Then run through New Atlantis to your ship.
• Head to The Eye, and check in on the survivors there.
• You’ll need to build somewhere to store the Artifacts. You can construct the Armillary on your ship, or at an outpost. Just make sure it’s somewhere you won’t have any difficulty returning to.
