Short Sighted foreshadowing

Spoiler alert for a later Starfield mission:

During Short Sighted, you will be given the option to help Sarah and Barrett with fixing the Eye. Who you help first will massively change events later in the game.

Should you assist Barrett with his computer program first, Sarah’s fixes with the wrenches will go wrong.

Should you assist Sarah with the wrenches first, Barrett’s computer changes will go wrong.

Whoever you help last, and therefore whose task goes wrong, will die in a later quest and no longer be recruitable as a crew member or companion.
